Philanthropic Service

The Nation’s Capital Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi is proud to support Read > Lead > Achieve®, our Fraternity’s philanthropic initiative focused on promoting literacy and inspiring a lifelong love of reading. Each year, we participate in service projects across the D.C. Metro area—including local school partnerships, book drives, Read > Lead > Achieve Month in September, and Fraternity Day of Service in the spring. As Pi Phis, we believe in the power of reading to unlock potential and change lives, and we are committed to helping create a more literate and productive society. Our club contributes to national initiatives such as Fraternity Day of Service Signature Events, the FDS500 book grant program, Champions are Readers®, and the Literacy Advocacy Project. If you’re interested in volunteering with us to make an impact through literacy, we’d love to hear from you at dcpibetaphi@gmail.com.
